Georges L'Enfant Emerald and Diamond Bracelet, French

Georges L'Enfant 18k yellow gold strap bracelet of woven mesh design, center set with alternating round brilliant-cut diamonds and round-cut emeralds. Estimated total diamond weight is 0.80 carats and estimated total emerald weight is 0.70 carats. The bracelet measures 7 1/4 inches in length, 5/8 inches in width, and weighs 53.6 grams.

Georges L'Enfant made jewelry for many of the top Parisian houses such as Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels.  His son Jacques designed this bracelet circa 1960-70's.The use of patterns, finely woven textures, combinations of different color golds, circular and twist motifs are all typical of L'Enfant pieces. They remain highly desirable and wearable today.
